Acceleration. Yep, it’s happening. An explosion of God’s presence in our generation is happening today! Have you seen the news with the football player who almost died on the field, and now prayer is taking hold afresh all over the place? God has ways that capture our hearts and set us on fire for His purposes to be accomplished! How is He working in your life? Do you feel the draw of God to come closer to Him and trust He’ll use you in some way to bless others who need to know He loves them, too?
I’m starting this blog in response to a call to prayer. Isn’t it funny how things morph from one step to another with Him leading? Would you join me in helping others to see how God is using regular folks to do mighty works in our generation? Let’s take a moment to thank Him for the call He has on each of our lives. Do you love hospitality? Signs and wonders that only God can do? Is your heart called to preach to the lost and saved alike? Can He use you to give generously so others are blessed because you recognize He’s called you to help in that way? The gifts of the Spirit are at work in and through each of us. Based on 2 Corinthians 12:5-11. Can you help us out here?

- How does God use you in these special ways? Or, are you waiting for God to release you into using what He has already deposited in you?
Let’s talk about it and see what God releases daily for a while. If you have a prophecy to share, share it. I have found God faithful that when I pray, at times He heals the person right away. Once, God even healed my roommate’s cut finger right in front of our eyes as we prayed. The doctor from our church saw it and thought the finger was broken, as it was swollen, discolored, very painful, and had three deep cuts from a fall on the ice-covered walk-way by our apartment. And yet, in just a matter of a minute or so, as we prayed together in her bedroom because she was in such pain, God healed it up completely and restored her finger to normal!
The doctor saw it the next day and verified to our pastors that it was a miracle. There was no way that could have healed and been restored so fast in the natural. To God be the glory! I knew that God could heal pain. I had seen that often in our prayer times at church during ministry at our altar following the Sunday service. But, I never dreamed God would answer our prayer like THAT! He knows what it takes to light our hearts on fire. And, I’ve never looked back!
